Cardinal Buick GMC in Belleville is looking for enthusiastic, dependable and team-oriented individuals to join our BDC!

Position Title: Business Development Center Representative(BDR)

  • Previous Automotive/BDC experience is a plus however not required

We welcome customer service team members, sales representatives, call center/telemarketing agents and all other similar professionals to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate appointments and continuous traffic for the store.
  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • Utilize provided tools and technology to maintain consistent follow up with prospects.
  • Correspond with past, current and future customers.
  • Complete all tasks assigned daily by the manager.
  • Work as a team to help support the sales department and other departments as needed.
  • Correctly record information in the company's customer relationship management system.
  • Assist online customers with selecting the correct vehicle to fit their needs.
  • Learn vehicle lines, clientele mindsets, brand and dealer promotions, and BDC strategies.
  • Participate in continuous training.

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to follow complex shift schedules.
  • Proficient in maintaining well-spoken, professional conversations via email, text message and phone.
  • Capable of listening and responding well to direction/instruction from management.
  • Able to successfully complete 100+ outbound calls daily.
  • The desire to meet all goals, both individually and as a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs of the department.
  • Passion for continued self and team improvement.
  • Ability to work full- time, including weekends and evenings.
  • Detail-Oriented
